CONSUMER PROTECTION ADVOCATE

Billing Reform: Stop 30 day advance billing by non-utility businesses, such as cellular companies and others.
Energy Reform: Create more tax credits & incentives for alternative energy research, development, manufacturing, installation, maintenance & repair in New Mexico.
Financial Reform: Cap all bank, credit card fees for overdraft, NSF and other services fees & at points near prime.
Judicial Reform: Establish right to jury trial in all contested custody cases. Judges must recuse themselves after ruling contempt against any party in a cause.
Internet Reform: Make spammers, malware & phishers financially responsible for their actions.
Strengthen 2nd Amendment: Establish “Home as Castle” doctrine. The right of persons to defend their families & property from criminals.

OTHER LAWS THAT NEED TO BE CHANGED

Criminals should not have the right to sue you if they are injured while trespassing or committing a crime on your property.

ONE METHOD TO REDUCE DEPENDANCY ON FOREIGN OIL SOURCES

We can require a yearly increasing percentage of state, county, city vehicles to be Zero Emission capable. This will create a market for plug-in hybrid technology which is not currently being offered to consumers. Many vehicles that drive less than 100 miles daily can operate without using any gasoline.
